The key to understanding the book of Revelation and in turn, the entire end-times calendar, is this: The book of Revelation is a collection of five separate visions that God gave the apostle John while on the isle of Patmos. Importantly, the events described within each vision are listed in chronological order. As a result, once the visions are harmonized with each other, the end-times calendar literally unfolds right before our eyes. The five visions begin with the verses listed below and are each marked by certain language—that John is either carried away in the spirit or he sees a sign or wonder in heaven.
Vision 1: Revelation 4:2: “And immediately I was in the spirit…”
Vision 2: Revelation 12:1: “And there appeared a great wonder in heaven…”
Vision 3: Revelation 15:1: “And I saw another sign in heaven…”
Vision 4: Revelation 17:3: “So he carried me away in the spirit…”
Vision 5: Revelation 21:10: “And he carried me away in the spirit…”
In the End Times Table link above, you will find the events of the end-times calendar laid out in perfect order. They are also depicted in a more visual format under the End Times Diagrams links.
